Hello from Savannah (at the moment!)
FYI spotted a Ftrvl in a grocery store parking lot from Virginia yesterday ..YAY!
Our minor issue is mainly an annoyance BUT shouldn't be happening. Wondering IF anyone can relate to this:
On the awning arm (closest to driver) on the slide of our 2000 U320 , what little breeze we have ,from a certain direction(?) , the arm retracts back against the coach. This wasn't just a fluke as it has occurred 3X and am wondering what on earth is causing this imbalance???
It's of course not life threatening BUT really, why is it doing this??
Will entertain any and all assumptions from you, Thanks and Enjoy the rest of Your DAY !!

Mine does that also, but the wind has to be fairly strong (10-15 knots) and from a certain direction. I thought it was just a fluke but maybe there is an adjustment that can be made.
The awning over our slide seems to be the "floppiest" of all our awnings, also. I have never been happy that there is just the one hook to secure that long awning when there is all the fabric over the slide. ZipDee may have some input on the need for additional "give" considering the ability of the wind to get under the slide topper fabric and raise the roof. I have no idea how you would create more than one anchor points along the side ... so I just pay attention and retract it if it gets to banging around.
If it is the front arm, maybe it needs to have more tension on the spring as the spring is on the front arm on the drivers side awning
