Trying to replace the small retaining catches on the mirrored wardrobe door , the new ones are proving difficult to insert , anyone done this job
I have the same issues. I made a mess getting the old one out and now the female part pulls out each time I open the door. My plan is to "resize" the hole with some wood putty and start over, just haven't done it yet.
If these are the mirrored sliders that are located in the walk-thru bath ... my fix was a bit pricey, but I am happy as a clam. I got RID of the things completely! In what world is it a good idea to have to look at yourself first thing in the morning (or at ANY time) while on the commode???? I improved my quality of life and my self esteem all at one time by having lovely, louvered doors installed, instead. Our sliders did not want to satay closed ... I used Walmart tension curtain rods to keep them in place. Dowels in the bottom tracks just caused them to jump out of the roller track at the top. The mirrors were separating from the backer ... SO glad they are gone!!
Had to grind the insert side down to a wedge shape
