Title: Thomas 12 volt compressor
Post by: Dick S on December 13, 2013, 04:47:45 pm
It took 22 minutes this morning to go from 30 to 115 psi. Is that way too long? Maybe new seals are indicated?
Thanks.
I know there was a recent thread on this, so apologize. My search skills are not good.

Dick,

Were you trying to fully air-up the coach tanks with just the aux compressor?

Hi guys,

A leak in the desiccant filter or the pressure bleed-off solenoid (if you have one) could also make the compressor run forever. Those are common problems.

Holy cow! I had to run up front to see if I had the Air Tank switch ON! But, no it wasn't.
Michelle, I have all of the excellent photos you took of the rebuild, but couldn't find the post that explained why you decided it was necessary.
Jim, I will look for leaks while the pump is running, thanks.
