Title: Prevost style Stainless Steel wheel covers
Post by: Don & Tys on December 19, 2013, 09:08:16 pm
I am tired of breaking the plastic fake nuts on our wheels, and I think they look c@#ppy anyway. I want to do something like these...
The selected media item is not currently available. The selected media item is not currently available.FOT had the fronts in stock, but no brackets (the parts guys didn't even know there were supposed to be brackets, so I guess they don't sell many :o ) and the price seemed over the top.
Anybody have a better source for these or the equivalent?
Don

If I researched that correctly it would be $700.00 +... Love mine a whole lot more now...

If you bought them at FOT, that would be well over a coach buck! ::)  I found that website before, Unfortunately they only have orders by phone or form that you fill out and fax. I was hoping to be able to just order them on the Internet. Maybe I'll give them a call tomorrow...

Got to see these covers in person- much better than any pictures! and they are permanently polished and so much easier to keep wheels looking sparkingly clean!

Somebody liked my passenger rear Alcoa cover more than I did, apparently, and stole all the nuts, all the backing pieces along with the cover.  I thought they only put these things on nice coaches, so there is at least one nice coach out there with a thief driving it.

I bought the nuts and mounts from ebay and the cover itself from a trucking outfit I found online.  It was still around $75, IIRC.

We have these on our coach and I like them for reasons stated above - mainly, easy to clean and I like the simple look.  I had no idea they were so expensive until Rudy Leggett saw mine and priced them for his.  I attached a couple of photos for those of you who are interested in seeing them on the coach.

I ordered a set of these from T Kane Enterprises by phone today. Very small operation, call was answered by a man who said I'll give you to my wife when I wanted to order the covers. They should be here before the first... Will post details when I put them on.

Hey Don,
When you are done with the beautiful work at Extreme G. and you have those new wheel covers on, you will have what I would call a "Forevost"! Enjoy it for years to come.
