Title: Windshield Washer Part ID
Post by: jor on December 21, 2013, 06:13:20 pm
Anyone happen to know where I could pick up a replacement for the body mounted part of the windshield washer system shown in this photo. I think we had the same deal on our 99 so FT probably used them for several years. We're heading down to FT in a few weeks so I can pick one up there but I'd like to find it locally before we go. Thanks.

Jor,

The last one we got was from a remote control airplane part store. It is a bulk head fuel line fitting. They come in straight and 90 like you have there.

I got a set of cowl mount nozzle sprayers from .: TAC :. Transportation Accessories Company - Specialists in School Bus Parts (http://www.tacbusparts.com/) I ended up just using the threaded nozzle end by taping the original units to fit. The reason for that was because it is nearly impossible to access the passenger side spray nozzle on my 97 coach. Cost about $16 bucks for two kits.

Mine broke yesterday and I was trying to find out how to replace it. Went to the TAC site and found metal Blue Bird as replacements so ordered two (if one breaks after 22 years....). According to the web site they now only have four of those left.
