Title: Keyless remote
Post by: Dan Stansel on January 02, 2014, 09:11:22 am
Looked in the archives for this but thought some new info might be out there.
Only part of my doors lock but the entry door does not lock.  Just noticed.  The remotes are original and I don't suppose they wear out but where would you get a replacement outside of FOT.  DAN

Dan, I trust your remote batteries are good as "some" basement doors do lock. Does the remote advance the dead bolt on the entry door when it is open? If not then there is a problem with the recieiver inside the door. If it does then it may not be striking the plate on the jam.
I just bought a replacement fob at TN RV. I believe it was their last one.

Did you check the wire in the door jam for a break? New ultraflexible wire to entry door lock actuator (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=14353.msg83202#msg83202)

I tripped one of those small breakers once.  Symptom was only on side of the coach was locking.  Those little push button breakers are hard to see when they are tripped.  I would recommend running your finger down the strip and feel rather look.  If it just the entry door then Barry hit the nail on the head.  Keep us posted.  David
