Title: HWH Slider Bladder Vacuum light over ride
Post by: Karl Brenneman on January 06, 2014, 03:15:56 pm
I have a leak in living room slide bladder. I set up a appointment at FOT for replacement in March I am currently in Florida. My question is there a way to by pass the yellow ready light? The leak is large hole and won't hold vacuum. So I can't get a study yellow. So with out the study light I cannot extend or retract the slide. I know this well not do the bladder any good running with out a vacuum but the bladder is toast anyway. I asked the guys at the FOT and they did not know how to bypass it. Maybe its a liability thing. I know some of the things we do out here is not orthodox but on the road you do what you need to do.

Any help would be appreciated.    Cheers Karl

What if you close the shut off valve on the slide manifold going to the bladder hose. It should close off the bladder leak and allow the control to function.

Correction: Put a shut off valve on the slide manifold hose going to the bladder located on the bottom of manifold.

Or put a pair of vice grips on the line and that will close it off too if you are stuck right now.

Thanks Guys for the Info,

We are not suck. We well be going to the FMCA rally in Brooksville Florida in two weeks. I did valve off the bladder air line. I can't get the yellow light  to stay on study. I think I saw somewhere a way to by pass the vacuum sensor which give you a study yellow.
Barry please say HI to Darlene. See you down the road.    Cheers  Karl
