Ok, which one of us is the Engineer? I am envenious of this mind.
What I see is a rotating to roof storage of solar (could be 2500+ watts) not one but 2 wind generators, some sort of cooling tubes in the rear (probally the Warp-Drive converter), both Ham and CB and 2 sat dishes
Will the AC work with that much power?
Notice the clear rock boundry line staking the homestead.
Just wanted to share.. in case it is one of us, i meant nothing malcious, just unique.
Look's like they are well connected. :)) :))
Now that's what you call boondocking in comfort.
Gary B
Home sweet home. ;D
It sure looks real..
I saw that coach several years ago dry camped at the avi casino.
at the time all the solar panels were stacked on the rear rack in
travel mode. I talked with the owner about the considerable
fiberglass damage on the right rear area. he explained that the
inner dually had blown.
This guy could create some serious solar envy. I know I'm jealous :o
Larry
Wayne,
So this is a real FT! How long ago? Fantastic, ingenius mind.
Were you able to talk with him about the capabilities of the coach?
Looks like mid to late 80's, was it a unihome?
He must have "monster" battery bank.....wonder where hw put them all.
Roland
Needed more expert than me.
Roland bring up a good point, batteries. How many? 4, 6?
Could the 2 wind generators hook up to an AC converter to run the air?
As I recall it is a 1992 or 93 u-280 or u-300. I don't know that more
batteries would be required. but he can certainly bake bread any time
the sun is shining.
and as my dw just reminded me, he had several interior mods that enabled
him to have several computer stations on board
