Title: Service at Foretravel
Post by: Dan Stansel on January 15, 2014, 10:45:55 pm
If you are planning to have service at Foretravel anytime soon call and get on the schedule.
I called today and the earliest date available was March 3rd.  Finally Joshua worked me in on February 19th.  They appear to be really busy.  DAN

I have been here two weeks and I can say I have never seen the shop run smoother or as well.  They have empty bays from time to time but all the guys work in teams now. So you get a team to work on your coach. This means the newer guys have an experienced guy looking over what they are doing. I had my fuel lines done and they did great.

We were there the week between Christmas and New Year.  Didn't have an appointment but called ahead of time and Joshua said they would work me in as I just wanted a chassis inspection.  They worked us in and managed to replace the front slack adjusters and replace the rear ride height valves.  I can't say enough about the courtesy and professionalism of Joshua, Jeremy, Alton, Aaron, Bruce, Billy Jack and David Flannagan.  Repairs and maintenance can get costly but I really appreciate being able to observe what's going on and being kept aware of the process.

Only three coaches were there when we arrived at Camp Foretravel --- One Grandvilla in storage (the Crystal Ship).  Really nice with full body paint and The Doors theme graphics),  Josh Lancaster (Pedalman) and one other with nobody home.  While were there we also got to see some very nice coaches and meet some fellow Foretravelers... Bill and Virginia from Tulsa,  Bob and Debbie (IH45)from Illinois, Mark and Trish from the 4 corners area, Jim and Cathy Donovan and their beautiful coach (Jdent2), Global Moderator John S., and Amos.Harrison (the other Brett)and his spectacular custom coach an toad of thirteen colors!

Don and Tys (acousticart) came by and we went over to Xtreme Graphics to see their progress and were Xtremely impressed!

This was supposed to be a slow time there but we had one fun week seeing the birthplace of our coaches.
