I have been meaning to post a note to compliment the service that we received last Thanksgiving on our way to Big Bend. We had a problem with water and algae in the fuel and needed to get our fuel filters changed. Del Rio Towing & Wrecker was very helpful. They changed both filters on the Saturday before Thanksgiving at a very reasonable price. They are located on Hwy 90 on the east side of Del Rio.

Back here at home, I needed to get a new state inspection sticker, so I took the coach to Brazos Diesel Service in Bryan, TX. I can't recall when I have had such surly, unhelpful service. It took two trips to get a 15 minute inspection done. (They didn't bother to tell me they were out of stickers the first time.)
I thought I would send some business to a small local establishment, but they clearly didn't want it, so I'll go somewhere else next time.

Ken, It's only about 70 miles from Bryan to Bellville. Cliff at Krupala Tire Company gives personal service. Downside is that he takes a lunch break, and he is the only inspector. He inspects my four cars, two motorcycles, and the Foretravel quickly and with friendly conversation. His favorites are the motorcycles. He has returned all the vehicles intact from the test drives -- so far. A couple of times he has suggested I leave a motorcycle or motorhome over the weekend so he could thoroughly inspect the vehicle. :))
