We love ours, and your might have been removed if you have MCD shades in the side and front windows.
Yes, when I removed my Rosen Visors, (I've got MCD's in front) I also removed those brackets and filled the holes.
Those are the mounting brackets for the Rosen sun shades.
Never seen those before , were they popular , did folk like them ?
We love ours, as they work on the side or front, and with the huge windows, at any sun angle or sun position.
They are popular in aircraft what spend hours above the cloud cover, that should tell us something about how well they might work here on earth.
Jimmy,
I purchased mine from John Duld last year and I have found them to be very helpful when traveling west and the sun is low on the horizon. My coach has no tint on the windshield and glare is greatly reduced. They can be positioned for any angle for the glare even when it is bothering you from the passenger side. My side windows are not tinted and they work well for them also. I am very happy with mine.

Since I have the brackets I think I will look for some gently used units , if anybody sees some for sale please let me know .
Thanks to everyone for the replys
Hmmm, might want to follow up with tothetrail and see if he still has those and might sell them..... Just thinking with my keyboard here ;)
I know I sure like mine!
Good thinking, but I already gave mine away.
Set of Rosen Sun Visors up for Grabs (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=18146.msg124325#msg124325)
I have a friend with SOB who found Rosen Sunshades (I can't remember if it was one or two) at a garage sale for something like $5.00. He didn't know what they were. I sent him pictures as to how to mount them. I should have offered to double his money and try to buy them from him. My 2002 U270 does have them, and they seem to have been standard on it.
Those visors are great, Dave K was kind enough to give me his pullouts when he did the MCD conversion. I've managed to break two of the plexi shades, though, and will probably cut some out of Lexan when I've got the CNC cutter fired up. That should eliminate the breakage problem.
My coach came with a broken shade, and I bought another from Rosen for less than $30.00 including shipping. I had looked at making one. But by the time I source materials, picked it up, cut to size, radius the corners, polished the edges and added the mounting holes I was loosing money.
Therein lies the beauty of CNC cutting. I can lay a full sheet of Lexan on the table, activate vacuum hold down and cut probably 24 of them out of a 4X8 sheet (guessing, haven't measured) with perfectly radiused edges, holes drilled etc in five minutes. Polish edges with a hydrogen flame and the only thing lacking will be the Rosen sticker.
That is, unless I make a mistake in CAD design. Then I've got 24 floor sweeping picker uppers....
Chuck,
At that price, keep an extra for me to pick up as a spare when I am back on the island. I can make the stickers.
