Does anyone know anything about this unit on ebay? 36' 1999 U295.
1999 Foretravel U295 3600 Used | eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-Foretravel-U295-3600-Used-/201025861758?pt=RVs_Campers&hash=item2ece13387e&vxp=mtr)
I hope I linked it correct, never done this before.
Thanks in advance,
Larry
No motorcade number on it so that makes it harder to know but it looks as though there have been no upgrades done. Should go for a good price.
Larry,
Looks like it might be a potential candidate given your criteria. It either had a flooring update (wood in the dinning and salon area, tile or lookalike in the bath), or it was ordered that way new. No Aquahot... two propane furnaces. ISC Electronic engine, though I know you would prefer the ISM or M11. It will be interesting to see what it goes for... Of course the most important factor is impossible to determine from the pictures... The condition and maintenance factor.
Don
Don,
Thanks for the input, you backed up what I was feeling. I may put in a bid and see where it takes us. I haven't ruled out the unit at MOT that you looked at either, just haven't had the time from work to make it down there. I hope to sneak away next month if possible. It is unnerving to not be able to see the condition, but if it could be bought for the right price (not real likely), it would leave room for fixing some problems.
Hope your travels are going well. We look forward to crossing paths again down the road, hopefully we will have our rig when we do.
Larry
You might see if the seller is willing to take some photos of the bulkheads for you - obviously not a substitute for a good inspection (a la Brett W.) but potentially useful....
Good point Michelle. I will call the dealer and see if he is willing to do that since I am putting in a bid on it.

It looks really clean to me. The Buy it Now price doesn't look too out of line if it has good tires, batteries and is mechanically sound. However, old TV's indicate it may have been neglected a bit the last few years.
There are 10 people watching this coach,I suspect someone has entered there high bid are waiting to see what happens.
Kent, I'm going to be contacting the dealer to find out tire, battery ages, pictures of bulkheads etc.
Bill, the last time I checked I had put in the high bid to be out bid by the automatic bidder. It goes until Friday so I will keep an eye on it.

Larry,
It is from a 100% reputable ebay seller with clear and detailed pictures. If you call i am sure they will answer all your questions and take some more detailed pictures such as bulk head. It looks very good from a computer screen .... I would not bid casually, if you are serious about buying it on ebay by wining the biding war I'd highly suggest using one of the software, ebay bidding services they are quite inexpensive and will give you a better chance to win it with the number you have in mind and once you talk to them and know what you want to do.
Take a look at this Sniping! The Best kept secret on Ebay | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/gds/Sniping-The-Best-kept-secret-on-Ebay-/10000000002571474/g.html)

Good luck.
I see the dealer is in Kerrville, Texas right outside of San Antonio. There maybe a forum member close by be willing to help out go look at it for you.
Thanks Al for the info on eBay. I have led a sheltered life, this is the first time I have ever used eBay, so any help is not only appreciated but needed. I will follow up on the sites and go from there. Hopefully we will be able to come within my budget.
