Title: In the bedroom on the opposite side from the thermostat (Drivers side)

Is which controller or device? 

I've got is a bundle of wires poking out from (a little) below the wall light.
Wondering if it was a remote for the radio, since I don't have a sun roof..?

Mine had a thermostat there for the air conditioner.

I'll go along with the (old) thermostat for the AC (makes sense).

With two new reverse cycle units in place, it makes sense that the old thermostats were disconnected. 

I'll cover the bundle of wires with something and not be concerned.
