Here is a bit of a lazy dishwasher installation. The previous owner of our coach had the washer/dryer unit removed and shelving installed in it's place at FOT. I was able to find the appropriate fittings at Lowes to hook the compression fitting drains up to the pipe thread 1.5" drain. The water supply was a standard stainless braided line with garden hose fittings. I did the drain this way to help prevent flooding if stuff clogs up. The air admittance valve should work fine instead of a standpipe to prevent siphoning. Seems to be working fine and the dishwasher is far more useful than a washer/dryer. Think about it. How often do you do laundry vs how often do you make dishes? We had this on the dining table of our winnebago. It's nice that it has a home now.
You are right, but if you full time a washer/dryer would be nice to have.
You don't have to be full-timers. We use our washer/dryer several times/week when on the road.
I already have a built in dishwasher, she knows how to use the washer dryer also ;D
(Will probably get bruises around the head & shoulders for that one)
