I've been looking around the dash for the CC Switch and struck out.
Anyone able to point it out?
pc
Have you looked at the turn signal lever? Also not sure what year they put it in the steering wheel
It was on the turn signal lever in my '95 U320.
Since I've replaced everything but the indicator..
Anyone have the part number so I can replace it too? pc
My 95 has it on the turn signal lever also.
Excellent.
Since there is a cut red & white wire, sticking out at the base of the steering column.. I wonder?
FT is having issues finding a part number for this turn indicator,
anyone have a part number? pc
The turn signal switch on my 95 U280 is on the stalk on the steering column. The stalk appears to be a standard GM stalk. It has on,off, resume slide switch. Speed set is button on end of stalk.

Anyone know which steering post is in this series FT?? pc
not easy finding this item btw.
Don't know about your 1995, but this for the 1993 (BTW, the contact info is a couple of years old):
Douglas Auto Tech, Bronson MI. (Steering column) 800 773-1440
The 95 should also have the Douglas steering column
I am in touch with Douglas Autotech.
Their contact (Jeff) confirms they supplied and continue to supply columns.
The square switch remains the unknown to this juncture.
I'm thinking this may be the ONLY square switch assemble ever made and
I am sending a picture of the part to Douglas.
So it goes, pc
PN for Square post turn indicator, dimmer & CC 1900051 Kit
I got lucky and located someone with DouglasAutoTech (steering post vendor for FT) The Kit # for my 95' U320 is 1900051 and can be ordered from anyone that sells parts, I've been told.
Now if I can figure out what a red and a white wire that are coming out of the floor between the post collar and the floor are for, I'll continue trying to get the CC to function. pc
PC your coach is two build numbers behind mine. My CC stalk is the same. I can't get at it now but I don't remember any exposed red or white wires at the base of the column. I have looked for a wiring diagram but it seems that it was never provided with the extensive documentation that came with my coach. If you still can't get it figured out I will look at mine later this week.

The red and white wires were probably added by a previous owner and that looked like the easiest way to get a wire from the dash area to something he needed to activate
Red Tractor,
You may be on to something. They are cut and I am not sure if they are coming or going from the post. pc
