Title: ID Dash Electrical Components
Post by: jor on March 09, 2014, 08:00:16 pm
I'm trying to identify all of the components inside the dash on our 95.

The first photo with the red arrows shows a couple of relays(?). Anyone happen to know what they are for? I can see a "660" ID on a wire on the left one but I'd have to rip into the nicely tied bundles to ID the rest. I think I'm missing a necessary schematic (#5346) which I'll try and get from FT.

There are also two mysterious devices in there. They are located where the blue arrow points in the first photo and the second photo is a closeup of them. Can't ID any wires.
Thanks.

Just checked my files. Turns out I do have the 5346.

If I remember correctly there is a fuse in it.

Ron is correct. Matter of fact, both devices are part of the in-dash radio unit and the large one does, indeed, have a fuse inside (15a).
