Title: FT owner near Yuma, AZ to inspect possible purchase
Post by: Robert & Linda on March 10, 2014, 08:24:56 pm
HI
We are Foretravel wanna-bes. We are checking out if a non-slide would work for us, and had been thinking a 34' would be the way to go, but we're beginning to realize that 36' gives us a lot more choice.  We are in Oregon and have unavoidable medical commitments for the next couple of weeks. Wayne Macauley in Yuma, AZ , is selling a 36' that we are very interested in. I told Wayne we would see if we could locate an inspector and he suggested that there might be someone on the forum living nearby who would be willing to inspect the coach on our behalf and give us an unbiased opinion of its condition. Is there anyone in the area who would be willing to do this and give us detailed feedback? We'd be happy to pay; we wouldn't expect someone to give up several hours of their time for nothing. Thanks in advance
Linda & Robert

BTW, that door damage doesn't look too bad, could get that fixed and new stripes applied in NAC by Xtreme for not too much $$$ ($7K plus that fiberglass repair, or thereabouts - my 1999 U-270 26' is on the Xtreme web site if you want to look at what is possible for not a lot of money

My name is George, I will be in yuma about 3 weeks. I am a full timer in a 92 u280. At one time, I  was the motorcade club mech.  I could check the coach out, if you would like. 918-633-7409.

If I were more confident in my abilities, I'd help...but it is a 155 miles for me from Havasu and I am afraid I don't know how to even look at the bulkhead issue.  Too bad this didn't come up when several forum members were still at Quartzsite, 86 miles away.
