Title: What does this switch do???
Post by: gordon cole on March 24, 2014, 02:29:02 pm
In our 2002 320 3620 there is a switch on the tiny cabinet on the outside of the passenger seat.  On the front face is the step switch and a light switch.  On the inside face is a larger switch with a Foretravel name plate with FLOOR, DASH and what seems to be a neutral position.  I have tried everything I can think of and cannot figure out what it does.  Can anyone help?  Thanks very much.

The rotary switch?  It's the passenger-side airflow position selector for when the dash HVAC is being used - controls those vents that are on the vertical face.

Thanks very much.  I did everything but start the engine and turn on the dash AC.  The wife will be very happy to have this control.  You are awesome.
