I seem to have found, horrors, an *annoyance*. We have this lovely nice counter in the galley on the passenger side, which would be a perfect place to put the espresso machine, but (first world problems) there's no outlet anywhere on that side at all! Oh no! >:D It's just terrible; here we are, with a pushbutton coffee machine that draws just few enough watts that we can run it off of the inverter, but we have to use it over by the kitchen sink where counter space is at a premium. Oh, the travails.
i don't really want to branch a section of Romex to a new outlet from the run that goes to the aux. air pump switch. Has anyone here added an outlet, and if so, how'd you go about it?
Jay, Are you sure there is not an outlet there ? Under the table on the street side in the pedestal on mine there is an outlet.
Gary B
Ours also. Really hard to see at first as it's brown. Another forward at the other table down low and hard to spot.
Pierce
Well I knew about the pedastal outlet, and the one down low and forward, but what I really want is one above the trash compactor, so i could secure the coffeemachine right there in the corner, but the walls around that countertop are all mirrored and there's no outlet anywhere nearby or below, darn it, but while I'm thinking about it i might as well tidy up the floor tiles, a bit o' dirt there and....
.....(looks up, sees dark brown outlet on underside of dark brown upper cabinets)
where's the "terminally embarrassed' smiley?
Jay,
If every time I posted a "terminally embarrassed" smiley when I discovered something that had been right in front of me, they would have come up with a redish pink font for my name. My mom said, "no fool like an old fool" but having a proper owner's manual would have saved me posting many a smiley.

I have always heard that saying - "If it was a snake..."
We learned after the first coach. We get down on our knees, and using a flashlight, look everywhere for plugs. We found some in the newer coach, we did not have in the old one.
I shoulda known, there's another outlet on the driver side above the sofa. We've had the thing a year now and are still discovering stuff. I hesitate to mention how many months went by before finding the hidden storage underfoot when you sit at the little dinette...
This topic has gotten me to start looking a bit. Our coach is a 93 U300 40' one, so the floor plan may be different than others. Forward of the door we have one outlet at the base of the pull-out table, and another one hidden between the seats where the old television was. That's all. On the curb side, aft of the door, there is an outlet on the dining table pedestal and another one in the corner by the small counter over the ice maker. On the street side there is one just aft of the couch and another one in the corner behind the stove. A third one is hidden up in the overhead cabinet for the microwave to use. One behind the refrigerator, and kind of hard to get to, is for the washer/dryer (which we don't have). The bathroom has one outlet. The bedroom is well supplied with three. One is under the overhead cabinet on the curb side, and one each are on the sides of the bed towards the foot.
Pierce, did I miss any?
David, Have you looked for a 110 outlet on the wall next to the drivers seat ? Many FT's have one there. Hard to get to so I put in a short extension cord and leave it there so I can access it from behind the seat.
Gary B
Just looked. None there.
there could be one under the sofa to the right on the floor.
JohnH
I found one under the refer in the compartment, it only had the vacuum plugged in to it, but still one open spot (93 U225). Used it for the hot stick upgrade to the water heater on my U225. Was way easier than anything else I could invent.
There are also a number of them on the undersides of the overhead cabinets, and in the outside bays.
The outlets used by Foretravel and most other RV makers and mobile home builders are self contained crimp-on outlets. There are also switches for the same purpose. See

Two different brands, same idea. No box is required, just cut an appropriate hole, pull some romex through and attach the outlet. It goes back in the hole and has tabs that hold it in place.
I have added several outlets in my coach where they make sense for us. A special tool is handy if you have lots to do but I just use a large slip joint pliers. Works fine.
Roger
So this morning my DW and I are lying in bed and she says, "What is that brown thing under the ovrhhead cupboard"? Oh, that's an outlet I replied. Only been fulltiming in the coach for three years. Wonder what we will find next.
Roland
Roland, Did you find the outlets on either side of the bed under the Skirt ? When I finally realized they were there the DW plugged the electric blanket into one of them.
Gary B
We knew about the ones under the skirt. This, new to us outlet, is under the curb side cabinets near the corner cabinet that is in front of the bedroom. You can't see it while walking in the bedroom. Enter the bedroom, turn left reach under the cabinet and there is the outlet.
Roland
On mine there is one that the Microwave is plugged into in the left hand cabinet over the sink. Another above the windshield for the entertainment/TV to plug into.
