I accidentally left the heat pump thermostat on and electric water heater on when I left the coach stored with a light gauge extension cord. I came back to find the transfer switch not working on shore power.
I tried adjusting the over/under volt settings, no help.
Instead of bypassing the orange ov/uv relay, I checked the upper left and lower right red wires with a contact less voltage probe, and verified it was passing the voltage.
So the problem is the contactor itself. It gets volts, but no "thunk"
I want to buy a replacement before removing the existing unit. It says Siemens and Sirius on the front, but needs to be removed to see the actual part number on a paper label pasted to the side.

Are any of the other models with similar part numbers and lower prices drop-in replacements of same or better capacity?
We put in a Magnatech - ATS 100. I believe we paid $210.00 last year from a local RV service shop in Kalispel, MT. This one was mounted under the bed. It had the same specs as the one that went fluttering into the night.
It appears the 3RT1045-1A was only made with a 120 volt coil. I could only find one on eBay, and it was used.
It is now made with a number of coil voltages, the 120 volt version being 3RT1045-1AK60. I bought a new one for less than the used one.
It will arrive in a few days, but my small solar array is keeping my batteries well enough charged. With no generator use, some running of the furnaces and inverter, and frugal use of lights, the Bogart TMS2020 tells me the batteries are at 94% as the sun goes down.
I had the new contactor installed today. My diagnosis was correct. The old contactor had the coil wires burned out.

Nice find that you can replace the contactor.
What is the model number of your Maverick transfer switch? I would like to see the wiring diagram of your transfer switch. Do you have two contactors?
We have the original ATS-100 which used different contactors than your SRT, but we could find a supplier for just the points, so we are continuing to use the ATS-100 with the new points/contacts.
Here are some photos of the one in our 2003; I suspect Tom's is the same. The orange device is the over/under voltage protection relay.
