Title: Seeking a good Overnite site near Knoxville TN
Post by: Hans&Marjet on June 03, 2014, 09:18:17 pm
Any recommendations for a nice spot near Knoxville TN? We are on our way back home on I75 to I40.

Thanks

Hans

One exit past Sevierville is Anchor Down.  Nice park and great views.

Hans,
You don't say what you are looking for, but hard to go wrong with the following:

Pigeon Forge:  Hidden Mountain | Cabin Types | The Dell RV (http://www.hiddenmountain.com/cabin-type/the-dell-rv/)  <$100 for THE DELL (most exclusive Class A MC Resort in the Knoxville East area).

Dandridge, TN:  New RV Resort, Breathtaking Views, Fireplaces, BathHouse, STAY WITH US (http://www.anchordownrvresort.com/reservations/)  $49 for the best Douglas Lake/Blue Ridge Mtns. Views, from every site,  in the area (Anchor Down, new park, just spent a week there).

Sevierville:  River Plantation RV Resort - RVC Outdoor Destination (http://rvcoutdoors.com/river-plantation/)  $35 -$38 for the most pleasant, lowest cost, full service park.

How is the new cooling unit working out for you?

Hi Hans,

I would recommend Raccoon Valley RV Park.  It is located at exit 117 on I-75.  Turn West and it is just a short distance on your left.  I have stayed there many times.
