I am in Southern California and need to take my 2003 Foretravel somewhere to have the slide put back in working order. Drew at Foretravel recommended Temecula Valley RV, and I see they are a warranty repair center for Foretravel along with many other brands.
Should I take it there, or is there somewhere else that is better.? For medical scheduling reasons, I cannot take it too far from home, so Nac is out of the question.
I also need to have the refrigerator repaired or replaced, is this a good place? I am waiting to see if domestic wants to pay for it or not, and Temecula Valley is authorized for Dometic service. If Dometic says no, and my insurance company writes a big enough check to cover the cabinet work to make a current model RV refrigerator fit, I might use that money to go residential or marine, and need someone to do the work.
They also do remodels. Would they be able to do a Foretravel-quality remodel of the refrigerator and/or front TV?
Thanks for the input.

Tom, can't speak from personal experience but have heard both pros and cons about that place. Have also heard that you can not watch the techs work on your coach.
Wish I could be of more help and hope everything works out for you.

Tom, consider calling Steve Bennett at California Coach Company in Costa Mesa for a recommendation. Steve is a super nice guy, sells high end coaches and is a former Foretravel dealer. He knows all the good guys in the business and can also steer you away from the not-so-good guys.
For remodels, Steve recommends John at Premier Coach in Santa Ana. On Steve's advice, I took my coach to Premier to have the carpeting replaced. Saw remodels being done there and was impressed.

Good luck

I use to go there for repairs but dont expect to get anywhere near your coach while they are working on it.
I had a few things not get properly explained to the tech which ended up costing additional hours which I did not pay.
All in all I think they can handle any repair reliably. They are a 1st class operation.
But because they won't allow me to talk to the tech or get near the coach while they are working on it I ended up using Colton Truck & RV for any service I cannot do myself. They can handle any repair and i can watch as they do it and talk to the tech.
I have an appointment for next Monday. From what I hear, I can expect them to get the slide room working again, but not likely cheaply. Oh well.
I'll have them provide an insurance quote, and I expect it to be high enough for me to go residential and have money left in my pocket, maybe.
Their reviews are hit and miss, but so are everyone else's.
