Title: Coach Storage
Post by: TAS69 on June 10, 2014, 05:46:57 pm
Just raked out 24 tons of 2"gravel for our new addition to rest on and dont see an immediate option for leveling front to back. Side to side is pretty consistent. The HWH leveling system doesnt seem to want to stay side to side level and ignore the front to back disparity. Tried twice with same result, pitches right side up in attempt to correct front to rear? Decided to turn off system and let coach slowly drain down. As long as there is no obvious twist on the chassis and fridge is off, should We be okay for a week or so?
                                                            Thanks as always!

Use old pieces of 2X12's under the low tire(s) to get as level as you can.

Don't let it air down itself rather just dump the air manually. If one side goes down faster then the others you can twist it and will lose a windshield.

I went back out and placed an 11 7/8 micro lam across the rear tires and made sure it was level. Used a piece of lumber to insure the front tires are level as well. I am going out to dump all air after coffee , purchasing cross ties later this week and will absolutely make her level front to rear as well.

Built crosstie box into slope of yard making sure to keep level front to rear and left to right then topped off with crush and run aggregate . The old  girl is officially LEVEL every which way and resting all the way down!
