Title: Washer dryer
Post by: bbeane on June 20, 2014, 10:00:11 pm
Soon to be full timing so the old combo w/d has got to go. Any one had any experience with the ventless Bosch dryers? Not a whole lot to choose from in the 24" class vented machines, and even less in 220v

DW really liked the new SplendideXC. Much more capacity than OE Splendide

There is another post going in this forum about washer /dryers from earlier this week.
I posted there on my Bosch Axxis unit.
For simplicity I will post here.

I removed the combo from our coach and installed a stacked Bosch unit. I ran a 220v line to feed the Bosch units. I was able to use the existing wall vent. I did have to relocate the vent pipe that runs behind the washer and dryer so I could push the units all the way back against the wall.

They work GREAT!
Much faster, more capacity, more efficient.

If you have any questions contact me.

My stackable washer and dryer are no longer working and I have been debating getting new ones vs. just removing them and creating more storage.  Either way, how are these removed from the coach?  I forgot to bring my tape measure on my last trip, but they appear too wide to fit through the door.

We love the extra space from removing washer and find laundrymats quicker much less problem free.

We did find a fork lift to remove our original propane fridge and slide in our electric fridge, through a living room window that was removed for painting. Windows can come out pretty easily if needed.
