Title: Fault code on 2003 M-11 450HP
Post by: Tom Johns on June 24, 2014, 01:56:33 pm
Hit a hell of a hole on I65 and alarm went off. Yellow check engine light came on. I pulled over and pulled the active fault as 84-10, Road Speed/Change. Does anybody have a clue what it is trying to tell me? So far I don't think it is a Cummins or Allison fault code

On another note just got back from 3 week trip thru Mi. Until this the Coach ran great. Slides did what they were suppose to. Love this Foretravel. Tom

I had that happen too. Our ECMs have a setting to prevent over revving and I had cummins program it out on my ECM when I stopped in.  It should reset itself after stopping and starting up again.

Dick S. had that code come up as well

As did Dave M., who got more information from Cummins about it

CUMMINS PID 84 10 ? (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=12860.msg68690#msg68690)

You might want to check the connections on the speed sensor on the transmission (I believe there are some photos elsewhere on the forum of that sensor).
