Good morning everyone
I understand that most forums don't allow commercial listings. This may fall under that rule. If so please PM me with the information.
There are many posts that mention other forum members as inspectors. Is there a list? I searched the forum for various spellings of inspectors (inspect, inspections etc). I can only find Brett Wolfe's name. He is unavailable and is on the left coast right about now. I'm hoping to find a good inspector on the east coast. I'm in North Carolina.
If a forum member is not available are there any inspectors you would recommend that are not forum members.
BTW, the 50 things list is great.
Thanks Ed
I'd be interested in such a listing as well if one exists. By the way, Ed, I love the last list of your signature. Wish I'd thought of it. :D
Thank you Walt, my then twelve year old step son used to say Michele and I 'wandered around aimlessly".
Even if there isn't a list per se, if you know of someone or if you perform inspections AND you are close to NC. (Sorry Walt I know that wouldn't help you) please let us know.
Thanks Ed
Is there really any other way to wander? :D
Close to NC may not help us now (since we aren't as close to buying as you may be), but you never know. Down the line, the info may come in handy. And perhaps it can be the start of a larger list of forum members around the country willing and able to inspect coaches for prospective buyers.
I am in VA. I am not an inspector per say with the background of Brett on all subjects but I do know my way around the Unihomes. If it is local to you or me then that would not be a problem. TN used to sell a bunch of coaches so we have them in the area.
When Brett could not check mine out he recommended Keith Risch, He said he works at MOT. He did give me a phone number and email for him.
I am not comfortable posting someones number and email without there permission so pm me and I can forward it to you.
Like John, I am not as experienced as some such as Brett but after owning three FT's over the years I can at least tell what the major issues are. Any FT's in the greater Atlanta area I would be glad to look and and render an opinion but for no pay, I retired so that I don't have to be billing, collecting and otherwise keeping records.

Thanks John, Tom and Gary for your help.
Looks like we are heading out tomorrow in our camper to take a look at two Unicoaches. One in NC and another in Va. If one of these ends up being the "one", I'll be looking to have someone look at it.
Thanks and if anyone else knows of someone please chip in.
Where in VA?
Martinsville, close to the NC border.
Ed
Ok. I am up by Winchester.
Hi all, looks like Lance Camper may have his inspector issue solved for now, here's part of his original question:
This is my first post to the Forums, and I'm early on in the motorhome hunt; but I hope more will post to this thread, If a wide variety of names shows up here over a wide area, it could be a great resource, that could last a long time, for anybody looking to a purchase.
Great board, very helpful members, I am glad to be here!
Cheers,
Jack
This one?
Foretravel Motor Home (http://winchester.craigslist.org/rvs/4464737907.html)
That is close by me in WV.
John, Martinsville & Martinsburg are two different Martins as in Va & WV, CHECK A MAP :o
Yes the listing in the above post was martinsburg WV. I have been to both places ans Martinsville is a hike.
We are in Southwestern Ohio, and I would certainly be happy to look at a nearby coach if anyone had the need. While I'm not a "professional inspection expert" I have honed my "shade tree mechanic" skills over many years and a variety of vehicles.
