I'm thinking about painting and sealing the roof on the Foretravel.
In my research I came upon this product: Insulating roof paint for buses, recreational vehicles (http://hytechsales.com/prod2150.html)
Its called Bus Kote.
Has anybody here ever used this product or know of somebody that has?
Lon,
I am not familiar with this product, but I used a product on my previous SOB which had a rubber roof. I cant recall the name, but remember it had a 15 year warranty. IMHO the 5 year warranty would be a concern. I guess I would be concerned as to the process either to repair or replace in 5 years if required.

I had my '11 Nimbus roof painted at the factory but was aware that Buskote was available. In a blog I read on a different forum. the person desribed the application as requiring a primer first and then applying the Buskote 24 hrs later. He said that it dropped the temperature inside the coach approx. 15 degs. The product originated with NASA.
Claims of significant temperature improvement with these things is pure snake oil. Other than possibly increasing reflectivity, there is no effective improvement in insulation with any of these coatings. A number of companies are being investigated by the FTC for these deceptive claims.

Bus Kote is a popular roof topping used here at our resort in Indio, Ca (ORI). There is a local fellow who spends full time coating roofs here and in the other area resorts. He has been doing it for several years. I have heard nothing negative about the product.
Application of the product is labor intensive. Our local guy applies the material over several days. Cleaning, filling openings, other prep work, initial application, and final touch-up. Cost is about $1500.
I had Foretravel do mine. I'm happy. It cleans off very easily even though it is a rough finish. I find that simply rinsing it with plain water is as good as using brush and soap.
I agree with Michelle about the snake oil about the roof coating doing anything to keep coach cool. I know that about this time last year James at Xtreme was testing a roof product that promised some degree of insulation. I'd give him a call.

I had James put Temp Kote on my FT. It works very well and does reject more heat then before.
