Title: purpose of some unused wires behind panel in cabinet over bed
Post by: Larry Rubin on July 04, 2014, 08:14:55 pm
While working in the cabinet over our north/south bed to get out the pine cones (see my post on Busy Squirrel in Around the Fire Ring), I found some extra wires behind the removable panel on the drivers side with the 120v outlets that may be there to support some option like a Satellite Dish which was not factory installed on my coach.  Specifically there is a green and a white pair both labeled "CR 2 B 71228" and a long coil of brown and red wires both labeled "749978 24V".  Anybody got any notion on what they are for?

Thanks much

Larry,

In the back of the Foretravel Manual there is a list of most of the wires in the coach and what they are for.  Your list is probably different from mine. Good place to start.

Unfortunately, Roger, the list in the manual doesn't include these wires.  :-(

They are to electrocute pests and rodents that get in there :)) :))

John, I think that Larry needed the generator running to get enough juice to do the job :P

OK then, they could be "trip wires" (tongue in cheek) ^.^d
