What is the secret to putting the pleated material back on the end of the slide. inside
One vertical edge is just velcro with a stiffener similar to an aluminum window blind, the other is the retractors similar to what's used on the front blind. They are held onto the slide with double-sided tape.
If it's just the retractors themselves, it helps to have 2 people. The easiest thing to do is detach the opposite end that's just velcro and have the "blind" retracted completely. Then line up all the retractors at the same time and start them together. Once that side is attached you pull the "blind" open and reattach the full-length velcro. We also had the adhesive on the double-sided tape that holds a couple of the the retractor "receivers" to the wall fail. In that case remove all the old tape and adhesive, apply new double-sided tape, put the "receiver" on its retractor that's still on the blind and use the blind to line everything up and stick the "receiver" back to the wall.

HWH did a good job on inspecting and repairing their systems during our factory visit, but correctly reinstalling the "pleated blind" was obviously below their paygrade. ;D On the rear side of our front slide there is a half pleated blind that was reattached incorrectly and would bunch up completely when the slide was extended.
So, I jumped right in and somehow disconnected the retractors without first figuring out how they were connected. :headwall: My new problem became clear immediately. There was no way I could position myself to see how to reattach the retractors. I could make an educated guess using my fingers but really did not want to break something. So the forum and Michelle in particular came to the rescue again. Thank so much Michelle.
