Well, as many of you might remember, I spent almost all of last summer and fall at Johns Hopkins or recovering afterwards. I almost could not make the 118 mile drive home and it took me 4 days to get down to the grandvention. Well I left Friday, July 4th at one pm and covered that whole distance. I say they to show how weak I was but still not too weak to sing the praises of my coach in the waiting area at the hospital. Well six and a half weeks of radiation gets you talking to the people in there with you. We were staying in the coach and that made it bearable and I was home. Many did not understand but one guy in there did. He just bought a FT sight unseen from MOT and will take deliver at the end of the month. I will go and look it over for him when I arrive and give him a report.
Just talking to people about our lifestyle, even during stressful down days is joyous and can make you smile. So we will have another new owner here soon.
That is great John, it is amazing, sone people get the picture clearly, most remain clueless.
Enjoy trip & say hi to the gang @ Xtreme & MOT.
I had a terminally ill customer in the 80's have me move his 40' ored to scripps in San Diego so he could look out his hospital window and see it. Happy to help.
Well, John, we plan to be in Nac July 18 or so. I hope to meet up with you and perhaps tell radiation war stories ;o)
best, paul
Hey Paul, I hope we are gone by them but it would be fun.
