Hi, I am trying to change the hydrallic filters on the fan and power steering on my 1999 U320. There are three filters I need the parts numbers for. All I have on mine is a number, no manufacturer. Does anyone have these brands and numbers handy? Thanks for your help.

Barry has the maintenance consumables neatly arranged by year and engine:
Foretravel engine Belts, hoses, Filters and Fluids (http://www.beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/foretravel-belts-hoses-filters.html)
I do not see the part # for the system only oil weight

Must  check content  before  posting
Ours uses Donaldson 84101B as a filter
I don't know if you 1999 uses the same ones that I have or not but I needed 3 of the Nelson 84101B.

You are going to want to change the hydraulic tank cover gasket while you are finishing this up as they tend to leak if you try to reuse the old one. Also make note of how the cover clamp goes together when you take it apart since it will leak profusely if reassembled incorrectly, don't ask how I know.
Thanks everyone for your help.

I ordered the filters and gasket from Foretravel, they are made for foretravel only.
could not find them on the east coast. thanks

Cummins/Fleetgard , same part number.
If you do a google search for Nelson 84101B, you'll find a lot of SOBs use the same filters for the hydraulic system. Don't know what you paid at FT but they are $10.29 each at Ryder.
Filter hydraulic, 84101B, Nelson Exhaust - Ryder Fleet Products (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/nelson-exhaust-84101b/filter-hydraulic-p-nel-84101b)
and the gasket for $3.64
Filter gasket kit, 99955A, Fleetguard Cummins - Ryder Fleet Products (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/fleetguard-cummins-99955a/filter-gasket-kit-p-v52-99955a)
A possibly pertinent question is whether the ISM / M11 powered coaches use the same hydraulic system and filter(s) as the smaller Cummins? It was my understanding the hydraulic system in the U320 used a 3-piece filter stack. I'm also looking - hence the question! Thanks to the experts, once again!
@Chad my 92' U300 uses a 3 filter stack in the hydraulics. It's just 3 Nelson 84101B on top of each other.
see ya

Thanks, Ken! I didn't want to order and get the incorrect part; they're not returnable. I appreciate your comment!
The hydraulic filters and cover rubber gasket are NOT made for Foretravel. They are not very popular but are available in many places other than Foretravel. Glad you found what you want from Foretravel.
I bought 3 Nelsons from Ryder last week for about $10 each.
I went to replace them today and found NO gasket on the top of the tank. It just had the band that closes it.
It never leaked.
Should there be a gasket?
Is there a difference with the M11?
On our coach M-11 there is a gasket, and there is only one way to install it. I don't remember if the bevel is down or up. If you install it upside down, the clamp won't go on right... and it WILL leak.
I can't remember where I looked to see how to install it. You can pick one way. If you guess wrong, the clamp won't go on right. Turn it over and rejoice!
The seal has to have a bevel. My first one didn't and it would not go on. Finally got the right one.

The M-11 uses the Nelson filters listed. The tank uses a gasket. If you don't see it on the canister, check the lid. There has to be a gasket or it would leak like a sieve.
who sells the gasket?
Gasket: Filter gasket kit, 99955A, Fleetguard Cummins - Ryder Fleet Products (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/fleetguard-cummins-99955a/filter-gasket-kit-p-v52-99955a)
Filter: Filter hydraulic, 84101B, Nelson Exhaust - Ryder Fleet Products (http://www.ryderfleetproducts.com/nelson-exhaust-84101b/filter-hydraulic-p-nel-84101b)
Thanks for the part number for the gasket!
Ryder ships fast, I hope I get the gaskets by Saturday.
I went back to re-check for a gasket, NON.
I filled with oil, tightened the top and started the engine. No leaks.
Here is a picture of my oil tank. Is this the same as the one you have with a gasket on the top?
Try Baldwin PT8487, or Wix 57196, they are power steering filters for Freightliner, Peterbuilt. The only difference is the rubber gasket glued on one end is slightly smaller in dia. in the center, but a razor blade takes care of that quickly. Most truck parts stores, and NAPA have them If one doesn't want to wait for them being shipped
The lid gasket doesn't really go on top, more that it catches the lip of the canister. Could be easy to miss and you won't know if the thing sealed up well until you take it for a drive, at least in my case.
Lon,
Like Robert says, if there really is no gasket, it
will leak going down the road. It is possible the old gasket is still in place, and will be good enough to seal, but judging from the condition of the clamp, I wouldn't bet on it. Take a look at this link (below) - the tank described in the PDF uses the same gasket and lid design, although the actual filter is different. It gives a good view of how the gasket fits on the tank. If you do still have the old gasket in place, it will probably be stuck tightly to the ring that is welded to the tank, and will not come off easily (without some vigorous prying and digging). Hope this helps...

Thanks for the help.
Hopefully a new gasket will come Saturday, I will take it apart again and see where that gasket fits.
Attached photos show where the gasket fits.
