Some time during the short drive from our U280's house to our house, the leveling system touch panel went dead. I found a loose connector behind the panel and reconnected it. The green travel light came on. However, When I pushed the "Air" button, every light on the panel lit up and the green travel light went out. None of the buttons were responsive except the "Off" button, which extinguished all the lights and the green travel light re-illuminated. Perhaps someone has seen this before and can point me in the right direction to a fix. I put in a call to HWH and they might be able to get back to me next week.
Thanks.
Bob,
I would recheck the connection on the back of the controll panel and so check the fuses in the controll box in the basement.
You can go through a trouble shooting flow chart on the HWH web site also.
John, thanks. I should have thought of going to the HWH website. I just came in from looking for the control box, how do I recognize it? I see the inverter, the cover for the main power distribution connections, and a couple of other unlabeled boxes attached to the forward bulkhead.
According to the HWH trouble shooting guides, if the control box fuse is good the microprocessor may be bad. Here's hoping it is a fuse.
The control box is aluminum about 12 inches by 8 inches by 4 inches thick, might have HWH somewhere on the boss. The lid is held on with 4 screws
Here's a photo of the box. Mine (95 300) is on the forward wall of the compartment just aft of the generator.
