We are having a heck of a time getting HWH to return calls. I started calling them June 30, no return call. Then again July 2, "still in the Q". Call July 11, they claimed to have a wrong phone # for me. They needed the AP# off the computer control box so that they can generate a RGA. Called today, July 14, 3 time trying to get a return call. Still no luck.
I have the control box out, just waiting for the RGA shipping instructions and est repair cost.
We lost all stationary air leveling functions. Only have Travel mode. In fact that is how we drove home from Florida to Mich in May.
Is there a better way to contact HWH or are they so busy that this is normal for them?
Try email. When we were there in April they had only one young lady out front, answering the phone, email, and taking care of the customers in the waiting room. She also takes care of the billing, etc., so she's pretty busy.
I have been waiting for a return call since June 27. I called again today and she said I was getting close to be getting a call. Hard to be patient!
Her name is Ashlee. Â She is very knowledgeable.
I don't know how busy they are, but you're not the only one...Contact with HWH (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=21198.msg157197#msg157197)
Good luck! ;D
Funny they seem to return the calls to some people much faster or so I am told.
Thanks, Jim. I couldn't remember her name, but she is one hardworking lady.
Boy, the power of this forum. I posted my note here last eve. and I got a call from HWH first thing this morning.
The RGA has been generated and the control box is on its way to HWH with expected delivered Thr.
Now my next question. Desiccant. Any brand and amount to install? What service required on the air compressor? They couldn't answer those questions and there isn't any information in our service manuals.
Desiccant - approximately 4 ounces by weight - bag it yourself at a cost of 1/10th or less compared to buying it from Grainger or FOT
Desiccant option for the HWH system (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=12784.0)
Do check the condition of the 2 bowls. We had a crack in one and encountered another FT who had a similar issue.
Air compressor doesn't require much in the way of maintenance. These things are continuous-duty rated. Steve did rebuild ours once (and then we scored a NOS unit via eBay and installed that).
I was able to get through to hwh today after nearly 3 weeks and after about 10 minutes on the phone with Randy was able to get my slide out room operating. They had sent a wiring y adaptor along with the air seal, but did not have any directions on how to use the adaptor. After he explained how to install it, the slide room works perfect. It is so much faster and better that I made one for the other slide out room. Love it when a plan comes together.
