I have been concerned lately over my FT insurance coverage. The previous company as well as the current company uses the NADA or Blue book value to put a dollar amount on the value of my coach, and I know it is too low. The coach could not be replaced for that kind of money. I guess my question is does any companies insure for an agreed upon amount? I know with collector cars I just send photos with the amount I would like to insure for and we come to an agreement on the value. Doe a company like this exist in the MH world?
Thanks,
Jerry
Last I knew, my State Farm policy in Texas was/is the value I set. It was simply a bit more than what I paid for the MH, plus a bit for upgrades

Jerry, Check with Miller Insurance, they seem to understand RV's and I have had good luck with them They do write Progressive and for some reason there is some resistance to them.

We submitted an independent appraisal to Overland Insurance and they insured to the appraisal value. The appraised value was considerably higher than what NASA or Blue Book showed.
I just switched from Progressive to SafeCo....SafeCo just asked me what I want the value set at and based my insurance quote on the agreed upon amount.
I have an agreed value on my '95. It's way north of NADA:
