After two trips to Nac we found the perfect coach for us (at FOT) with plenty of room for our extended canine family, Annie, Bobby and Lincoln. Will be picking up in a couple of weeks. Finally!!! A beautiful 2005 40 Ft. Very excited!

Congratulations. Saw your new coach when we were there last week inspecting our new one. We pick ours up Thursday and then head west for 10 days.
Congrats and welcome to the forum.
Great looking coach, enjoy!
Saw this coach from the outside yesterday, very nice ;D great choice. Enjoy :D
Welcome to the family! She's a real beauty! Now be sure to sign up for your first year (it's free) of the FT Motorcade Club, timing is great for the FL chapter to get rolling soon, (Savannah co-rally in September) You'll meet a lot of great folks along the way & really enjoy the coach more. Happy trails!!!!
Thank you for all the comments and warm welcome to the Foretravel family. When we decided to sell our Airstream at the beginning of the year and move into a coach we had never heard of Foretravel. Had we not happened across this forum in our search I don't think we would have. The Rv shows and dealers we went too in the southern part of Fl never mentioned Foretravel when asked who they thought built quality motor homes. In fact only one sales person out of the many we spoke with had heard of Foretravel.
After spending time (lots & lots of hours) on the forum and after the first trip to MOT and FOT our minds were made up a Foretravel was the only coach for us.
Thank you to all the members of the Forum, you made our decision and easy one!
All the best with the new coach. We think that you surely made the right choice. ^.^d
Congratulations! You chose a beautiful coach.
Welcome to the Foretravel Family. Safe travels to you and family.
Mark and Tanya

Congratulations are in order! Very nice paint scheme on your new coach. I think you have the only Foretravel I have ever seen that has the windshield wipers mounted above the windshield... so many little changes from coach to coach!
Don & Tys
Beautiful Coach! Happy Trails!
I believe that was done only on 2005 models and not even for the whole model year as I have seen a couple of 05's with the bottom mounts. Go figure. Mine work fine but I have no idea why the change.
Anyhow, Gary and Jeannie - saw this one in person and it is a beautiful coach. Happy trails.
They changed it after getting complaints that you could not lift the wipers to clean under them at truck stops without a ladder. Also some people put tennis balls under the wipers to save the blades when they are parked for a long time. Could not do that easily with top mounted wipers.
Must of been some vertically challenged owners... ;D Seriously, I could see where it might be a problem for some but I don't use a ladder to clean under the wipers or to do the tennis ball thing.
I'm vertically challenged, and I carry a step stool for some things and an 8' step ladder for others. Washing the windshield requires the step ladder, and even then I can't quite get it all because of the slant.
The 88 was no problem to stand on bumper. The 280 is almost 10" (short legs) higher so broke down got a telescopic washer with squegee ^.^d
Spending my second night in the FOT parking lot on our new to us coach. Several FT owners here for service have provided a wealth of knowledge on helping me become acclimated to all of the STUFF. With all the buttons, switches and systems you would think I was going to the moon and all I'm doing is going home to Florida.
By the way, if you think it is hot in Florida come to Nac in Sept if you want to experience Hot.
New granddaughter prevented Jeannie from being able to join me on the maiden voyage, but she sure is with me in spirt.
Beautiful Coach!
Beautiful coach! We're sure you and your family will enjoy it even more as time goes by!
The reason the salesmen never mentioned Foretravel when you were asking about better coaches to buy was he didn't have one to offer... Whatever is sitting on their lot is the best coach for that day..You did well by not listening to the man woman or talking parot or whatever it was reading the script.
That is a VERY pretty coach!! Congratulations!! Your wife is going to be in heaven ... no doubt.
Very nice coach!
My wife and I are just beginning our search and will be heading to Nacogdoches sometime in the near future. We hope to have the same luck as you finding a coach but we have plenty of time so shouldn't be an issue.
Before it gets too cold, head to Maine and check out Dean & Dee's coach that they have just listed here on the forum. I saw it before they took possession and it was gorgeous (we happened to be in Nac when they were on the way down to purchase). they have only added to it, and it is pristine and lovely and VERY well maintained!
Keep looking--especially here. Some of the best coaches, in terms of price and condition, are often right here! We found ours here, even though we are in Ohio and the coach was in Arizona. Everything about the transaction went flawlessly, and we really enjoyed the trip home in our "new to us" Foretravel!
Hi Gary,
Great to hear that you are in your new coach!!
Wish I was there to meet you, but we are driving down and are now in Meridian MS.
Expect to be in NAC tomorrow 9/6.
When are you leaving to go home?
Congrats on the new Grand Child!!!!!
Safe Travels---
Jim
