We wish to place a color laser printer in our lower washer cabinet in our bath area. We presently have a laser printer in the cabinet behind the passenger's seat but the door is too narrow for a laser printer. I have considered rebuilding that cabinet to allow for the laser printer but would like to place it in the bath cabinet - any way for now. Our problem is that this printer is used on occasion and the inkjet carts. dry up. We have tried capping and placing in zip lock bags...... When she needs a printer she needs one now and feel the laser will be a better long-term fit. We have bought numerous ink jet cartridges. She prints a bunch of pages then the printer may sit idle for months.
Can any one advise where the electrical outlets are for the washer / dryer are? We have a breaker under the bed so I assume that a wire has been run somewhere. I do not see it anywhere in the upper cabinet or the lowere cabinet.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ;D
HP has cartridge dry out problem, Epson less so (my experience)
On mine (and I have no idea if it applies to your FT), you have to remove the drawers on the left side of the W/D to get to the receptacle.
I have a Brothers black and white that has seen continual use printing the majority of our printing for 4 years with only 1x where I had to call Brothers. It was out of warranty and they still supported their printer. It prints even after sitting a month. And the cartridge is about $44 for 2500 pages.
If I had to buy a color printer it would be a Brothers.
Ours is behind the washer, where the water fill and drain lines (and washer air admittance valve) are

If you have a "box" with a bunch of square drive screws in it on the floor of the cabinet above the w/d, you might be able to access the outlet from there.
On my 1999 U320 the washer dryer electric outlet is under the false floor of the closet adjacent to the washer dryer. If you lift the rug there is a small door with a finger hole to remove it. The outlet plus the water line connections are under there. I hope this helps for your model.

Thanks for the responses.
I will snoop around more. I see no panels with #2 drive square heads. will pull a couple of drawers and also check under the carpeting.
BTW we have been using a Brother color All In One and it has worked great. Sometimes we will not use the printer for a few months then, depending on the job my DW is doing, she could print a hundred. Right now she is comparing educational Common Core Standards with some software and inserting reference and text as/where required. She has stacks of paper all around her - 2 computers.
Update - Pulled the bottom drawer out in the bedroom behind the closet and voila' - Electric and plumbing. Will just need to cut a small hole in the wall and drop the wire through and plug it in.
Thanx y'all ;D
