See attached picture. I'm missing one of these latch pins on a storage bay. I was wondering who makes them, what they are called, or where I could get one from.
Thanks.
It's called a latch striker pin.
A Google search will return many sources.

Not sure, but I think they are made by Trimark Corporation. Here is a link to one of their catalogs... not sure if there is a picture of it in there. I believe it is called a striker pin or striker bolt.

At the hardware store look for socket head shoulder bolts. Find the right diameter and length. They can be found in stainless but you probably don't need SS. Use a nylock nut or other type of locking nut on the back side. Should only be a few bucks.

Sort of related. Does anybody know where I can get key blanks for the baggage doors? There are very few locksmiths around these days.....
I haven't really looked, but I haven't sourced an alternative latch striker pin. I heard FOT has them.
Most likely Home Depot or Lowes
The Foretravel parts shop sells most parts for most Foretravels. It is not likely to be the cheapest price, but it is likely to be the right part.
I haven't had luck at a few places I tried. The keys seem to be of unique shape.
I'll likely order parts from Foretravel---it's just that they are a pain to get ahold of on the phone and the process is frustrating.
We just bought extra bay door keys and blanks for entry door from Trimark. They sent the bay door keys already cut. Good price, quick turnaround.
Thanks Alan & Gerri! I'll give them a ring.
I found key blanks at my local hardware store. I had them make 4 new keys and tried them all out. Less than $2 each. They don't have the black plastic end but they work fine.
Keep looking.
