Title: Primus Heat
Post by: joeszeidel on August 16, 2014, 12:16:17 pm
I am curious does anyone know how many units foretravel built with primus heat. I have a 95 U320 se and I think I have the first unit in 95 with it. Mine still works great. Would like to hear from others that still have it

Blue bird used it also.  Their boards might give you some info?

Just limited propane capacity was the issue.  Cannot legally carry more than two 300# propane tanks per DOT if memory serves me.

Thanks for the info Bob, I have the normal size propane tank. It has two boilers and three heating zones inside. I have to confirm my build number for 95, I think I have either the first or second bus type rv. I'm the second owner and the previous owner gave me extra parts which included an extra boiler.

My Foretravel also has the Primus.
I was told by previous owner that it was the second U320 produced (new coach body style), Mr. Fore owned the first.
Very few were made with the Primus.
Few people around for help. I get good advice on the Bluebird Forum.
I find the system works great but, Way too complicated.
