There is a 40' U320 listed on Craigs List in Houston, Tx. For $45K, not sure of the year, 400hp Cummins. I'm sure someone can look at the graphics and decipher the year, but it is not listed in the add. There are pictures.
Appears to be a 95-96 coach. Tambour cabinet doors. Walk through bath floorplan.
After looking closer, I believe it is a 1995 Special Edition. I think 1995 was the last year FT used all wood interior.

Its a 95 I have one almost the same although I updating my interior
Just had a quick look and see it is in terrible condition. I would suggest anyone that has such dirty carpet and cabinets does not look after the stuff you do not see.
IMHO

Like to see what the eng compartment and bays look like!
A lot of people use stuff up then sell it. My favorite hated word in the business was "it never gave me no trouble." Usually that meant it needed everything.
This might be perfect. Illness or age sometimes overcomes maintenance.
I bought a 1996 U320 40' with dirty carpet--- I can change that, and would anyway. The Gentleman who owned it was 90, and as you suggested, was no longer able to keep up. Mechanically the coach was near perfect, but needed a lot of cosmetics. To me, the cosmetics are part of making it yours anyway.
maybe I'm looking at this in low resolution, but I don't see anything that looks bad in this photo. Carpet looks pretty good to me. Am I missing something?
Well I totally agree with the comment that carpet can/will be replaced as I for one do all those things normally, I was just saying that many times the "cosmetic" stuff can be a precurser to other things that where not looked after. I have been thru' that one believe me. Pride of cleanliness in the living area usually is better than the other places, so when the living area is a mess good chance the others are worse and maintenance has been lacking. If it was priced correctly to allow for these issues that is one thing but this is not in MHO.

Without seeing it in person the only thing that looks not so good to me is the carpet and like all ready said I think 99% would change it anyway. Sure the pics could be better. Maybe close the toilet seat and get rid of the shoes near shower before taking pic. Remove stuff ontop of washer and remove stuff from closet. I think I have looked at worse. I sold mine on my own in three days using Craig's list. I emptied everything out before taking pics and priced it right. First person that came purchased it and the Moho was 21 years old.
Greetings, All!
I drove this Foretravel about 300 miles to my home this evening. Then, I saw this thread after pulling in and logging on. I was able to wrangle the PO into selling this beautiful '95 U320c SE to me after he accepted a low-ball offer by another fellow without the funds. This same coach was sorta ridiculed a bit on this site for being untidy. Right?
My new rig is a '95 U320c SE 40' M11 with very nice bones (built about 11/94). I may have been dissuaded from the purchase had I read some of the remarks or had I seen the photos before spending some time in the saddle.
The PO, a horseman, may have posted his "working rig" photos on CL in a less-than-flattering light, but this Old Foretravel is pretty clean, straight and solid. Carpet is good, too. Thanks to the PO (Carl) for a wonderful opportunity at a reasonable price. Drives great and still turns heads.
Thanks, too, to PC (This forum member encouraged me to get going and get serious.) Looking forward to learning from others here as well. I am pleased.Photos to come! Log me off as:
