FMCA has made some changes, the best one is continuing & expanding Michelin tire discount prices. Free medical assistance is very nice, but the FMCA mail forwarding for those that use it is going to be a big change.
. . .the Michelin Advantage Program is expanding to include more tires. This program has saved members anywhere from $100 to $250 per tire.
. . .outsourcing of FMCA's mail forwarding service. Beginning October 1, 2014, DakotaPost will be the preferred provider for mail forwarding.
. . .FMCAssist medical evacuation and travel assistance program was voted back in as a member benefit, included within your membership dues.
. . .FMCAssist coverage goes into effect October 1, 2014. Coverage will be extended to all FMCA family members, including full family (F), life (L), and associate (A) members.

"on the Michelin tire deal are we talking automobile tires?"
Yes. From the FMCA web page: "In addition to motorhomes, the Michelin Advantage Program includes tires for light trucks and passenger vehicles." I'll be needing new tires for the Jeep fairly soon, so this comes just in time.
Who do you contact to get info. on the tires. I have a truck needing 6 may be worth checking into.

Here is the info on the FMCA Fleet Tire Program: Tire Connection - Michelin Advantage Program (http://www.fmca.com/join-family-motor-coach-association/member-benefits/fmca-connections/3455)
Glad to see the additions to the program. While we don't need tires right now, it's always good to see expanded membership benefits. Hopefully, this will help increase the number of FMCA members.
Is the FMCA tire discount any better than the Prevost program that was recently brought up on the forum, or is it the same?
Great to know. Thanks for the info.
