Title: Ferry ride across Lake Champlain
Post by: Steve & Ginny Hill on September 14, 2014, 10:13:14 pm
My DW was white knuckle, but it really wasn't bad. A beam sea, and it was rolling a little. A lot of spray over the bow. Thankfully, it's fresh water.

Steve & Ginny Hill, which did you take, Kent or Cumberland Head? Maybe you are ready now for the ferry to Newfoundland or one of the ones to Vancouver Island. I love ferry rides, except for the Alaska Marine Highway, just could not see the point in that one.

My friend and I just returned from a 4587 mile motorcycle ride and rode the Essex Ferry last week across Champlain.
No rain and a beautiful day to ride across great country in upper New York, Vermont and Maine.
