I just installed tophats on the 95. So how do you adjust them? I expected x-ray vision or something but I don't see how they improve the previous convex/flat picture. e.g. When a car is coming up on the side, I see it in the flat and then as that image disappears it comes into view on the convex. These mirrors are out front so probably only those that drive with this configuration can answer. Thanks.

Jor don't have the top hats on the 92 what i do have and it works well in the 3" fish eye on my convex mirror on the passinger side, It pretty much takes away my blind spot. Use them on many a big truck and even 4 Wheeler's (light trucks and cars) fwiw ;D
The way I set mine is to basically divide the total view down each side into 3 overlapping sections. The top hat starts at the horizon and covers up to around the rear wheels, plus out to the side one and a half lanes. The flat mirror covers approaching traffic behind the back bumper up to about the middle of the coach. The bottom convex mirror covers from the rear wheels up to the leading edge of the front wheel well, plus out to the side into the next lane. I can see the front yellow turn signal repeater in that mirror.
All 3 mirror views overlap, so the end result is zero blind spots on either side. At least that is what I see...
Thanks, Chuck. that sounds like just the ticket. I'll give it a try.
