Title: Happy HAPPY HAPPY
Post by: stump on September 26, 2014, 09:40:54 am
I closed the deal on my 91 yesterday. This coach has by looking  at the old papers been sitting since 2010.I had not heard it run but I bought it anyway. I had checked it out and everything looked good to g o. I put a new start battery in this morning, hit the key and it fired right runs as smooth as a swiss watch!  Goes in gear moves forward and backward. I am one happy  camper!! How do I retract the entry steps?

Congratulations! If yours is like ours, the step will retract when the door is closed and air pressure builds. The step opens when either the engine is turned off or the door opens.

Ours retracts automatically when the key is turned to the start position if you have a little air pressure. Ours had been sitting for a couple of years but we drove it across the U.S. with only a minor glitch. P.M. for a couple of things to look for.

Your going to love it!

If your 91 is like our 90, there is a series of switches on the left side just above the steps.  One of these switches controls the step.  If it is in the off position, the step will not auto close when air pressure builds, or when the door is closed.  I'm not sure which switch it is, but will check tomorrow.  There is also a switch that controls the the aux air compressor.  if it is on, the AC powered compressor will maintain air pressure as long as you are connected to shore power.
