Ok so I'm not a blogger nor a tech geek. Just a 54 year old retired happily married male. Years ago I listed an item on Craigs List and things worked out well. 2014 a whole nother story. Between scammers and dealers slamming my cell there has to be a more favorable inexpensive way to advertise my rig to people that understand the value of a Foretravel. A resent inquire suggested I try this. I will say this there is a lot of VERY good information on this blog.
Welcome. Yes, the "Classifieds" section here is the place to list your coach. Most of the people here either already know quite a bit about Foretravels or are learning about them.
RVT.com will get you a lot of exposure. It does cost however and you will get a lot of "broker" calls willing to sell it for you. I have had several real inquires on ours through RVT and then I tell them about this site to see a better classified ad with more pics and info on our coach and much more info on Foretravels of course.
When the brokers/dealers call I simply ask them to take me off their call list. They fade out after a week or two. Only had one get belligerent with me but I was up for the challenge and he finally hung up. ;D

I wonder what Gary. Bouland used to get his buyer. He had some issues with the variius advertising methods, too.
I bought our coach off Craigslist in Seattle agfter watching the pruce go down ovr a few weeks. This wss 3 years ago at the very bottom of tge RV msrket.
Putting an ad here can't hurt. Include lots of pictures.
God luck.

What's totally amazing is the offers to pay full price with a bank check, sight unseen. They will send a driver for the vehicle and pink slip.
You put your phone no. in the ad?!?! tsk tsk
have had excellent results buying and selling via CL, but NEVER put my phone or direct email in the ad.
I use CL's proxy server until I have established a dialog with a seemingly legitimate buyer/seller.
have also had decent results, as both buyer and seller, using TRADER.
Good luck.
I have used Google voice to create a phone number that redirects to my cell number, and can be cast off at any time. A useful feature is having voice mail messages appear as text.
Flyin 38, I recently sold my 95 U280, it took almost a year and I was hassled by every trader, dealer, scam artist and just plain nut over that time. I put it on this forum, Craigslist, and RV trader. Guy that bought it saw it on RV Trader.
It is a real hassle and I know of no way around it except consignment. Unless you have a high dollar near new unit the consignment fees will eat you up. The dealer does not care what you net from the sale, he only wants his 10 percent or minimum of 3500 bucks.
Wish I had a solution but I don't.

Gary, Thanks for the info. I've been a member here now just a few days and had the coach listed for 2 days. Was contacted via email yesterday then by phone from a guest to this site. Her and her husband are coming Saturday from NC to look at the coach. I think its because on this site people understand the value of FT. Just the kind response from you Gary. Took your time and explained things to me. I wish I would have found this site when we first purchased the coach.
