Title: Ceiling Fan in 2000 U295
Post by: TulsaTrent on October 13, 2014, 07:17:29 pm
Does anyone know if the U295 models were prewired for a ceiling fan in the 2000 model?

Thanks,

Trent

Trent,
Check with James Triana at FOT.  He sent me the roof plan for my 2001.  It shows where the 3/4" plywood is in the ceiling over the bed and the location of a pex line running from the middle of the plywood to the ceiling area of the BR TV cabinet.  I just pulled wire through to hook up mine.  The 2000 might be different so ask for a plan.  A 42" fan is about as big as you can get in there. We used a 110v fan.

Trent if you do get a plan maybe please send it to me as well. I may decide to put one in ours (or a fantastic fan unit if framing is sq) Have to get on roof first thing in am and see if I can see the framing in the dew.

John,

Will do and free of charge (of course).

Trying to build up enough equity for a pit stop. ;D

Speaking of which, that reminds me. My passport expires in December; must get it renewed soon, to avoid hassles.

We had a fantastic fan put in ours.  Would much rather have the fresh air.  We let the bathroom fan blow out and the bedroom fan blow in while sleeping.
