What would the roof covering be on A 2006, 270 ..... F'glass, aluminum, or ?

Are you sure it's a 2006?  I'm pretty sure fairly certain they called what was the U-series the Nimbus that year (and built very, VERY few, and I don't think they had different designators like U270/U295/U320.)

Should be fiberglass but I do REALLY question the year/model.

Oops, sorry, it is an '05. The 36' at FOT, I'll be down to look next week. Thanks, and sorry for any confusion.

My 2005 has a fiberglass roof with aluminum substructure as Raymond says.

Look at this link on Barry's site, that has the spec. sheet for all three models numbers built in 05.  (And the roof is listed as fiberglass.)
