As I neared home yesterday, I noticed that the halogen light at the front of the driver side upper level was on. I could not figure out how to turn it off. Most of these halogen lights are controlled by a switch on the upper cabinet bottom, located near the rear end of the sofa.
The light at the front end was on and did not seem to respond to that switch. I finally turned it off by turning the battery switch off at the door.
If anyone can figure out what light I am talking about, and knows how to turn it on and off, I would appreciate being schooled on its location.
Thank you very much,
Trent
If you are talking about over the driver seat, mine is controlled by the top forward most switch on my left console under the driver's side window by my left knee.
Trent, it is on the trans panel to left of driver.

Trent,
Are you talking about the light on the bottom of the overhead cabinet above the driver?
If so try the rheostat on the headlight switch.
Don't be in a rush, it took me about 4 yrs to finally discover ALL the little buggers, had most located but a few escaped me for awhile.
The switch for this light should be labelled "Map Light" as John H said on the trans panel/console.
In our coach, the halogen light above the drivers seat is controlled by the headlight switch. Full left turns it on, rotating right turns it off - and dims the dash lights.

Bingo! That was it; thanks everybody,
