Title: Front door latch
Post by: sedelange on November 01, 2014, 03:43:09 pm
Is the pin that the front door latch strikes supposed to be tight or is it supposed to float?  The hex head part of the pin assembly on my 2005 is tight, but the whole assembly is able to move up and down.  Is this normal or do I need to figure out how to tighten it?

Hi Steve,
It is suppose to float. That's what the factory, Bob Irland, told me.

Good.  I didn't want another project.

If you ever have to adjust the lock, it is fairly simple. Here are some instructions for future needs.
