Title: 92 U280 in Oklahoma City
Post by: Johnstons on November 06, 2014, 05:58:41 pm
I saw this on CL today.  I know nothing about the coach but it looks like something I'd check into if we were looking for a coach.  Full body paint is rare on a coach of that vintage.

Have no idea.

We had a 92 U280 and loved it. It didn't look nearly that good.

Seems a little weird to post it and just say "make offer".  Could they be serious?

It is really hard to put a price on your "baby or one of the family".

If it's their baby, they should say "free to good home"  That's what I'm holding out for ;-)

It does look super sharp though, and super unique.  I've seen a few painted up fore travels on this site of that era, and they all look amazing, and one-of-a-kind.  It takes a lot of love to part with the kind of dough it takes to get that kind of paint job, for a coach that is already 20 to 25 years old.

The ad has been up for 18 days.  I wish the new owner all the best, and who knows, they might show up on the forum.

I sent an email and the reply was "asking 35k and extreme did the paint."  That's it.  David
