Title: Coach net experience
Post by: Chuck Pearson on November 09, 2014, 08:00:41 am
Discovered I had run a low inside dual in rural Missouri, looked fine though so I proceeded to air it up.  Using a clip on chuck the sidewall exploded with much sound and fury at around 110PSI.  Uh oh, time to call Coachnet.

The gal I talked to was responsive and helpful and proceeded to call around for a new exact replacement Michelin, with no luck for in stock tires.  She said, "let me try something else I'll call you back."  An hour later I got a call from a roadside service guy, "I have two XZA3+ tires in stock, used, with recent date codes, no damage, $225.00 each I'll send both take your pick."  A couple hours later we were good to go.  Two thumbs up to Coach Net for excellent service and staying right on the ball.

If you're gonna blow up a tire (literally), I guess the inside dual is the safest position to do it.  Glad your Coach-Net story is happy - we have the same coverage, but haven't used - yet!

Chuck, do you usually put 110 PSI in your inside dual?

Chuck, do you usually put 110 PSI in your inside dual?

Your old u320 at full GVW requires 98 psi for the load.  My guess would be 95 or so to match the loading on the axle

...well if I hadn't been at FOT already, Coach Net would have gotten my call yesterday...thankfully there were some great FT fans to bail me out!  There's a fella here right now with the entire right front panel missing, generator case torn into, looks like air bags gone too....all due to a blow out....very frightening sight...I hope to get a good "going-over" (tires too) this week while here for the trip home.
